The winery features uniquely rich Santa Cruz Mountains wines: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon : Pinot Noir. Also produced are premier, pure fruit wines, such as Raspberry, Olalieberry and Apricot. Sample these wines in our Monterey Tasting Room along historic Cannery Row, or visit our quaint winery in Soquel along the banks of Soquel Creek. Tours available. Ventana Vineyards 2999 Monterey Salinas Hwy, Monterey, 800/237-8846 Located near the Monterey Airport on Highway 68, just 5 minutes from downtown Monterey. Ventana Vineyards, famous for its premium wine grapes and research work in viticulture, was established in 1978. Ventana Winery was given special recognition as the most award-winning single vineyard property in America. Visit the tasting room to sample and learn more about the grapes and wines.
